According to the 2011 census, Canada has a population of 33.5 million people with 80% of Canadians living within 150km (93 miles) of the US border.

Official Languages of Canada

Canada officially has two languages, English and French though it doesn't mean everyone is bilingual. Around 58% of Canadians only speak English, 22% only speak French and just 17.5% can speak both languages. Almost 85% of all French-speaking Canadians live in the province of Quebec.
